Fanny Fheodoroff
Passionate about both solo and chamber music, Austrian violinist Fanny Fheodoroff performs internationally at venues including the Berlin Philharmonie, Concertgebouw, Laeiszhalle Hamburg, Beethoven Haus Bonn, Musikverein Vienna and Wigmore Hall.
She won the 2026 Royal Overseas League strings prize and is a laureate of the Elise-Meyer Competition, the 27th instrument competition of Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben and the International Violin Competition “Andrea Postacchini”. She was also a recipient of the renowned scholarship programme of the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes.
From 2022 to 2026, she was the violinist of the internationally acclaimed Trio Sōra, with whom she performed extensively across Europe. Their double album with all of Johannes Brahms’ piano trios received unanimous international praise (Diapason, Gramophone, BBC Music Magazine) and was awarded a CHOC Classica, a Trophée Radio Classique, and a nomination for the Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik.
Her commitment to exploring works by historically under-represented composers led to the creation of “Adoration” (2021), featuring duo works by eight female composers.
Fanny earned her Master’s degree at The Juilliard School, following studies in London, Hamburg and Vienna.
She plays a 1769 Ferdinandus Gagliano violin, generously loaned by a private sponsor.
